  11. I have both a USR v.everything modem (With the 11/1/95 Flash Rom Code
  12. installed) and a USR Sportster modem with the upgraded V.34 chip that
  13. supports 33.6 connections.

  15. My ISP has Sportster modems with the upgraded V.34 chip that supports
  16. 33.6 connections.

  18. I can regularly make connections at 33.6 when I use my Sportster modem
  19. connected to my ISP's Sportster modem..

  21. I can make only 28.8 connections when I use my v.everything modem
  22. connected to my ISP's Sportster modem.
  23.  
  24. Why can't I make 33.6 connections between my v.everything modem and my
  25. ISP's Sportster modem?

  29. P.S.  I sent an e-mail message to USR's internet support address and
  30. received a confirmation of that message 10 days ago, but haven't yet
  31. received a response to this question from them.
